MUSLIM SULE HASSAN, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): The Respondent/Applicant by notice of motion filed on the 27th day of May, 2022 brought pursuant to Order 6 Rules 1 and 9, Order 8 Rule 6, of Court of Appeal Rules 2021 and the inherent jurisdiction of this Honourable Court prayed the Court for the following Orders:

1. An Order granting the Respondent/Applicant enlargement of time within which to transmit additional Records of Appeal in this appeal against the decision of the Benue State High Court of Nigeria, dated Friday, the 29th day of March, 2019, in Suit No. OHC/63/2013, issued and delivered under the hand of His Lordship, Justice W.I. KPOCHI. 

2. An Order deeming the Respondent/Applicant’s Record of Appeal already filed in this Honourable Court as duly filed, transmitted and served, the necessary fees having been paid.
