Judgement

HABEEB ADEWALE OLUMUYIWA ABIRU, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the decision of the Federal High Court sitting in Jos in Suit No FHC/J/82C/2011 contained in the Ruling delivered by Honorable Justice N. Ayo-Emmanuel on the 29th of January, 2016. The Appellant, along with one other person Suleiman Ado Bala Yerima, was arraigned before the lower Court by the Respondent on an amended charge containing ten counts of offences said to have been committed under the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act of 2004. The Appellant and his co-accused pleaded Not Guilty and the matter proceeded to trial. The Respondent called nine witnesses in proof of their case and the witnesses were duly cross examined by Counsel to the Appellant and by Counsel to the co-accused person.
