JUDGMENT

This is the Judgment of the Court in respect of A14 who is charged under Count three of the charge sheet with conspiracy to steal, contrary to section 23(1) and 124 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), and also under count four with Stealing, contrary to section 124 of Act 29.
The facts of the case as given by the prosecution are that, the 1st to 5th accused persons are staff members of the Controller and Accountant General’s Department in Accra. The 1st accused Godwin Komla Amegbe is the Chief Treasury Officer in charge of the Pensions Computation Unit. The 2nd accused Sonny Adinyira is the Treasury Officer of the C&AGD attached to the CHRAJ.
