This interlocutory appeal emanates from the decision of the High Court, Accra delivered on 22nd June, 2021 which dismissed an objection raised by the 1st, 2nd and 4th Accused persons/ Appellants against the evidence of one Nii Amanor Dodoo, the first prosecution witness (PW 1) who testified in his role as the Receiver of Unibank. The facts of the case before the trial High Court are that nine accused persons including the three Appellants herein have been charged with different counts of offences before the High Court, Accra. Cumulatively there are seventy-one counts of offences preferred against the accused persons but none of them is standing trial for all the offences. Some of the accused persons have been charged with several counts of offences while others have few counts. The offences under which the accused persons have been charged vary from conspiracy to commit fraudulent breach of trust contrary to sections 23(1) and 128 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29)…
