RULING

Introduction and background to the application 

This is a ruling on an application presented by the Special Prosecutor  (applicant herein) seeking the confirmation of an administrative freezing  order it had issued against the properties of the respondents pursuant to  Sections 38, 39 and 40 of the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act, 2017  (Act 959) otherwise referred to in this ruling as the OSP Act. The  properties which are the subject of the present application have been  listed in the body of the motion paper. Those properties comprise vehicles  and jewelries of the respondents. The applicant has supported the motion  with an affidavit deposed to by Enoch Frimpong Boateng. 

The respondents have all been served with the motion. They have all  reacted to the motion by filing affidavits in opposition to the grant of the  present motion.
