JUDGMENT

BEMPONG (MRS), J.

The petitioner herein petitioned this Court for; 

1. Dissolution of the marriage existing between the parties. 

2. That the petitioner be given a half share of the matrimonial home which the parties  acquired jointly at Kasoa. 

3. That the respondent maintain the petitioner during the pendency of the suit.

4. That the respondent shall settle the petitioner with an amount of fifty thousand  Ghana cedis. 

5. Costs.  

It is the case of the petitioner that the parties got married in the May 1992 and cohabited at various places at the initial stages of the marriage until they moved to their matrimonial home at Kasoa. Petitioner says that after a series of unreasonable behavior on the part of the respondent, the petitioner moved out of the matrimonial home and filed for divorce. 

The respondent filed an answer and cross petitioned for their marriage to be sustained and  said that the petitioner was not entitled to any of her claims.
