(Delivering the Leading Judgment): By the amended notice of appeal filed on 22/5/2024, the appellant filed seven grounds of appeal against the judgment of the court below, Coram: M. L. Garba, J. S. Ikyegh and J. Y. Tukur, JJCA delivered on 21/2/2019 which had dismissed the appeal of the present respondents in totality but allowed only the cross appeal by the present appellant on the merit. The appellant among other grounds complained about the quantum of damages awarded by the court below.

The court below had not improved the quantum of damages awarded to the appellant by the trial court.

During the course of the hearing in this court, the appellant, a layman who had appeared for himself throughout the hierarchy of courts since he filed the action in 2011, was concerned about the delivery of his transcripts and certificate.
