ABUBAKAR JCA (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appealagainst the decision of the Federal High Court presided over by Aliyu J. sittingin Ilorin. The respondent in this appeal, who was plaintiff at the court below, brought an action against the appellant, plaintiff at the court below on 15 October 2009, claiming the following reliefs.

A declaration that the dismissal of the plaintiff by the defendant is wrongful, unlawful, illegal and invalid, null void and of no effect whatsoever, having been ca rried out in flagrant contrave ntion of the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, the sac red rule s of nat ural justice and the conditions of service whic h re gula tes t he a ppointment of t he plaintiff.
