ACKAAH-BOAFO, J.

Introduction 

[1] On the 11th day of June 2014, the Plaintiff caused the writ of summons accompanied by  a statement of claim to issue against the Defendant claiming the following reliefs: 

a. Cash the sum of GH¢9,000.00 being debt owed Plaintiff by the defendant which was  reduced into writing and which the defendant promised to pay at the end of April 2014  but failed to do so and in spite of persistent demands made by the Plaintiff, the defendant  has willfully refused to pay. 

b. Cash the sum of GH¢8,000.00 being monies the defendant collected from the plaintiff  on the pretext of securing travelling documents for plaintiff’s son Salim Yakubu and  which the Defendant promised to secure visa and all the necessary travelling documents for Salim Yakubu within a month but failed to do so and in spite of persistent demands  made by the Plaintiff the defendant has willfully refused to pay.
