ZAMFARA STATE ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION AGENCY V. ADAMU

(Delivering the Leading Ruling): Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 6 and 36 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), Section 15 of the Court Appeal Act, Cap 136 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, Order 6 Rules 1, 9(1) and (2) of the Court of Appeal Rules, 2021 and inherent jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, the Applicant prayed this Court for the following orders:

1. AN ORDER FOR EXTENSION OF TIME within which to seek leave to restore Appeal No. CA/S/72/2022, delivered on the 12th of March, 2024, which was dismissed upon failure of the Appellant to file Brief of Argument within time.

2. AN ORDER of this Honourable Court, setting aside the decision of this Court delivered on the 12th of March, 2024 dismissing Appeal No. CA/S/72/2022 for failure of the Appellant to file Brief of Argument within time.
