Part I – PRELIMINARY

1. Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Survey Regulations.

2. Interpretation

In these Regulations, except where the context otherwise requires—"approved assistant" means any person other than a licensed surveyor who assists a licensed surveyor in the execution of field surveys, but does not include skilled and semi-skilled chainmen and labourers;"forest area" means any area of land declared under section 4 of the Forest Conservation and Managment Act (Cap. 385) to be a forest area;"survey" means any survey made under the Act.
