AN ACT to amend the Volta River Development Act, 1961 (Act 46).BE IT ENACTED by the Presidential Commissions and the National Assembly in this present Parliament assembled as follows:

1. Act 46 amended.

The Volta River Development Act, 1961 (Act 46) as amended by the Volta River Development Act, 1961 (Amendment) Decree, 1968. N.L.C.D. 268) is hereby further amended by the substitution for section 3 thereof of the following new section:-"3. Constitution of the Authority(1) The Authority shall consist of a Chairman, the Chief Executive appointed under section 5 of this Act and six other persons of whom one, who shall have had experience in financial matters may be appointed as Finance Member, and two shall be appointed to represent major consumers of the electrical power to be generated by…
