AN ACT to amend and consolidate the law relating to the Bank of Ghana and to provide for related matters.BE IT ENACTED by Parliament as follows:

Part I – THE BANK OF GHANA, ITS OBJECTS AND SHARES

1. Continued Legal Existence of Bank of Ghana

(1)The Bank of Ghana in existence immediately before the commencement of this Act shall, subject to this Act, continue to be in existence as a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
(2)The Bank referred to in subsection (1) shall be the Central Bank of Ghana and may, in relation to its business purchase, hold, manage and dispose of movable and immovable property and…
