AN ACT to amend the Bank of Ghana Act, 2002 (Act 612) and to provide for related matters.PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President: Section 2 A inserted

1. Section 2A inserted

The Bank of Ghana Act, 2002 (Act 612) referred to in this Act as the "principal enactment” is amended by the insertion after section 2 of"Establishment of departments2A. The Bank may establish departments and other administrative structures for the effective performance of its functions.”.

2. Section 3 of Act 612 amended

The principal enactment is amended in section 3 by the substitution for subsection (2) of“(2) Without limiting subsection (1), the Bank shall

(a)support the general economic policy of the Government;
